By accessing or using Marifecto Events (the "Platform") to create, publish, discover, manage, or attend events, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. For youth events, organizers must implement appropriate guardian consent. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:

• You meet the minimum age requirements
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are not prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws

3. Accounts

To organize or attend events, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account information updated
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree to use the Platform in accordance with our Community Guidelines. You will not:

• Create fraudulent organizer/venue identities or impersonate brands/speakers
• Publish misleading event details (date, venue, pricing) or unsafe content
• Harass or endanger attendees, staff, or partners
• Scalp tickets, bypass ticket limits, or facilitate unauthorized resales
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the Platform or events
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (event listings, images, schedules). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, use, modify, reproduce, and display your content to operate and promote the Platform and your events.

5.2 Our Content

Marifecto Events and its content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Platform without permission.

6. Payments, Fees & Refunds

The Platform may charge organizer fees, payment processing fees, and optional subscriptions. Refund policies are set by organizers and shown on event pages. We may withhold or reverse payouts for fraud, chargebacks, or violations.

• Organizer payouts require verified banking details
• Ticket transfers and resales must follow event policies
• Taxes (e.g., VAT) may be collected where required

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information in the context of events, attendees, and organizers.

8. Safety and Security

While we strive to provide a safe environment, we cannot guarantee the conduct of third parties. You should:

• Follow venue rules and emergency procedures
• Report hazards, harassment, or medical concerns
• Use official ticketing channels; avoid off-platform payments
• Never share sensitive payment information via messages

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts or event pages for violations, fraud, or safety risks. You may delete your account at any time; organizers must resolve open payouts, refunds, or disputes before closure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marifecto shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or tickets, arising from use of the Platform or attendance at events.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marifecto from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your events, listings, or violations of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Marifecto is incorporated, without regard to conflict of laws. Venue and jurisdiction will be as specified by applicable law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
